To strengthen our IT production support team we are looking for someone with profound knowledge in IT Helpdesk Analyst who is also familiar with a financial service environment (ideally Fund Administration).
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing 1st line technical support to customers – taking enquiries by phone and email
- Dealing with problems for hardware, mainly Laptops and printers, and software programs, mainly Excel, Adobe, Word, Outlook, MSTeams
- Asking questions about the problem and explaining possible solutions
- Dealing with common or basic technical issues such as missing user rights
- Dealing Access related issues like Passwords, 2FA, 1FA, Accounts blocked, Passwords expired
- Dealing with connections problems for Citrix users or users working from home.
- Updating knowledge bases with details of common problems which customers can view online
- Passing calls to a team of 2nd line support analysts if the problem is more complex
- Arranging for a technician to visit the customer if a problem can’t be solved over the phone or by email.
- Dealing with new joiner onboarding and login assistance
Skills/ Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
- Phone support experience.
- Technical Service desk or technical call center experience .
- Disciplined, systematic problem solving skills required.
- Hands-on work experience with the following:
- Windows Operating systems
- Clients: Windows7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000
- ITSM ticketing tools.
- MS Office Suite (XP, 2003, 2007): MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-Outlook
- Internet browsers (e.g. Explorer, Chrome),
- Support for laptop, desktops, and printers
- Fluent in English (German, Luxembourgish, French being an advantage)
